Enviromental Policy.
We realise it is in our best interests to limit the impact our operations have on the Environment. Thus we have adopted the following environmental policy:
- Adopt and aim to apply the principles of 'sustainable development' i.e. development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
- Meet or exceed relevant environmental legislation.
- Set detailed and quantified objectives to implement this Policy.
- Commit staff and resources to ensure that the objectives are met.
- Ensure staff are trained to understand the Policy and have the skills to implement it.
- Adopt an assessment of and responsibility for, our products and services.
- Seek to improve environmental performance continuously.
- Aim to minimize the use of all materials, supplies and energy.
- Wherever possible, we will use renewable or recyclable materials.
- Reduce or eliminate pollution.
- Adopt an environmentally sound transport strategy.
- Assess the environmental impact of all our operations past, current and future.
- Assist our customers to use our products and services in an environmentally sensitive way.
- Include environmental considerations in investment decisions.
- Control the environmental effects of raw material sourcing.
- Design products for optimal performance and maximum efficiency.
- Expect similar environmental standards to our own from all third parties involved with our business, i.e. suppliers, vendors and contractors.
